Why groups choose WeEngage
Psychological safety
Everyone answers at once, on their own device — no awkward silence, no waiting for a volunteer. Anonymous response options make hard or unpopular views safer to raise.
Fewer follow-ups
One person talking at a time means groups walk out with a partial picture — and need another meeting just to clarify what was decided. WeEngage surfaces the full picture the first time.
Sharper thinking
More perspectives in play means more creative options — and decisions made on the full picture, not a fraction of it.
Inclusive by design
In the room or remote, everyone engages on equal footing — introverts, reflective thinkers, and anyone who’d rather stay off camera included.
Team development
Collective patterns become clear, so a group sees what it actually thinks — and where it needs to shift.
Real agency
Collective ownership of the decision — so the group leaves empowered and committed, not just informed.
A new era of collaboration
We treat online meetings like in-person meetings. But video calls can't replicate what happens face-to-face. Forcing them to is why we dread them. WeEngage is built for how virtual collaboration actually works, not how in-person used to: written responses, visual insights, and direct chat sit alongside a live call. No camera or video required.
Inclusion by design.
How WeEngage works
This isn’t another meeting tool. It’s an all-in-one solution for leading better meetings.
Leader-led pacing
You control when questions appear, when responses are shown, when insights surface. Participants can’t jump ahead or derail the conversation — you guide the process.
Multi-channel engagement
The people comfortable speaking keep talking on your call; everyone else contributes in writing, in the same moment, with equal weight. WeEngage runs on written responses, so taking part never means being on video — run it alongside a meeting, or entirely on its own. And because nothing depends on a live feed, people can step away and pick back up later without missing anything.
AI insights the group can respond to
A custom engine, guided by a proprietary framework and knowledge base built on the psychology of group and team dynamics — not a generic summary. It surfaces where a group is strong and where it can build further. When you choose, you share that read back to the group — with a prompt you write — and they respond to it, turning the insight into the next conversation instead of the last word.
AI insights are optional, and participant data is never used to train the engine.
Structured question types
Guides the conversation intentionally. Brainstorms, polls, open-ended responses, ranking, knowledge checks, word clouds, confidence scales, dot voting, Start/Stop/Continue, laddering (5 Whys) — each designed for a different kind of group thinking.
Anonymous response options
Participants can answer anonymously, so people feel safe raising hard or uncomfortable things. The group hears the honest signal, not just what’s comfortable to say out loud.
Real-time insights
Patterns surface during the session, not in a report afterward. Use them to shape the next question and adjust your facilitation in the moment.
Ask about your meetings
A private chat over the meetings you’ve saved: what keeps coming up, what was decided, what’s still open. Attach your own transcript, agenda, or notes and it reads them too. Your chats are saved so you can pick up where you left off. The files never are.
Group chat and private messaging
Participants get a shared group channel plus private 1:1 threads — with each other and with you — always on, with no facilitator switch to gate them. The group channel pauses while a question’s responses are hidden, so no one’s response is shaped by what everyone else is saying, then reopens the moment you show them or close the question; private 1:1 threads stay available throughout. Nothing is saved in session notes.
Shared whiteboard
When the thinking needs to be visual, the facilitator broadcasts a shared canvas — sketch and map together, then return to the structured flow.
No recording or transcription
WeEngage never records or transcribes a session. There’s no video or audio to keep. You decide what happens to the written record: save it when you end the session and it’s kept for your plan’s history window, or end without saving and it’s deleted right away. Already use a notetaker? You can bring its transcript into a private chat about the meeting. It’s read, never stored.
You control the pace, the whole way through
Nobody can jump ahead, and nobody’s left waiting on a volunteer — everyone answers at once, and you decide when responses are shown.
Turn everyone’s responses into a conversation the group builds on
Everyone answers at once. WeEngage reads the whole set and hands back a clear read — where the group agrees, where it splits, what didn’t quite get said. Then you share that read back to the group, and they respond to it. AI-generated insights are always shown for review, never as the last word.

Questions people ask before their first session
What is WeEngage?
WeEngage is facilitation software for hybrid and distributed meetings. You pose a question, everyone responds at once in writing from their own device, and you show the responses to the group when you’re ready. On the Pro plan, AI insights read the whole set back to the group as something it can respond to.
Is WeEngage a polling tool like Mentimeter or Slido?
No. Those are audience tools: a presenter on stage, a big screen, hundreds of people voting or posting questions. WeEngage is built for a group small enough to have a conversation. There’s no presentation layer. You run a sequence of question types chosen for the kind of thinking you need, and what the group said carries forward into the next question and into the record you keep.
Why not just use the polls and whiteboard built into Zoom or Teams?
Those are moments inside a call: a quick vote, a canvas, then back to whoever is talking. WeEngage is the structure around the whole session. Responses stay hidden until you show them, so no one’s response is shaped by the first person to speak. Participants can respond anonymously. AI insights read the group’s responses back to it. And the record of what everyone said stays with you after the call ends, whether the group was on Zoom, on Teams, in a room, or a mix.
How is WeEngage different from Miro?
Miro is a shared canvas: everyone sees and moves everything, all the time, and it’s excellent for visual work. WeEngage is the structure of the conversation itself. One question is in front of the group, everyone responds privately in writing, and you decide when the responses are shown, so the first person to post never sets the frame for everyone else. Joining takes a session code and a name. There’s no canvas to learn, so nobody hangs back because they’re less comfortable with the tool. The whiteboard is here when the thinking needs to be visual, but it’s a step in a session, not the product.
Do participants need an account or an app?
No. Participants open a link or enter a session code in a browser, type their name, and they’re in. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Only the person leading the session signs in.
Do people have to be on camera?
No. WeEngage runs on written responses, so taking part never means being on video. Someone who steps away can pick back up later without missing anything, because nothing depends on a live feed.
Can participants respond anonymously?
Yes. Open-ended, poll, brainstorm, Start/Stop/Continue, and laddering questions offer a “submit anonymously” option, so hard or unpopular views are safer to raise. Word clouds, scales, ranking, and dot voting never show who said what to begin with.
Are sessions recorded?
Never. There is no audio, no video, and no transcript. What exists is the written record of questions and responses, and you decide what happens to it: save it when you end the session, or end without saving and it’s deleted right away. Chat is never stored either way.
What are AI insights, and what happens to our data?
AI insights are a read of the group’s written responses: where it agrees, where it splits, what didn’t quite get said. They’re optional, shown to you for review before you share anything, and never the last word. Participant data is never used to train the AI.
How much does it cost?
Every account starts with a 30-day Pro trial, no card required. After that, the Free plan includes 4 sessions a month with open-ended, poll, brainstorm, and whiteboard questions. Pro is $29 a month with unlimited sessions, all 11 question types, templates, scheduling, and AI insights.
